Corporate events - Give your guests a unique visual astronomy experience

What we provide.

A bespoke experience that your guests won't stop talking about. Spend time with us exploring the night sky with visual astronomy and learn from our team members who are actively studying the universe and let us show your guests the awe inspiring sights with our powerful telescopes that uncover hidden objects in our night sky. During the event we can run a short (non-formal) captivating talk and open discussion about what's setting the world on fire in space & astronomy - black holes, exoplanets, Mars exploration, what's next for human space exploration & more.

What can be seen?

  • The Moon - our natural satellite in its rawest form with jaw dropping surface features.
  • Jupiter & Saturn - these HUGE giants that have been a source of interest since the invention of the telescope 400 years ago. They still blow people away to this day.
  • Mars & Venus - our closest neighbours and the most visited by probes and robots. See the beautiful red planet in all its glory or the yellow haze of Venus in what can only be described as a hell-like planet.
  • Star clusters - like 1000's of diamonds sparkling in the sky, these clusters don't disappoint our powerful telescopes will offer you a true visual astronomy experience.
  • Nebulae - described as 'the mystical clouds of the universe' our very origins are laid bare before us in which we can gorge upon or see the ghostly remnants left behind from dead stars.
  • Challenge your eyes to see the truly deep sky objects that are other galaxies sat at unfathomable distances.

We always aim to capture some pictures of some objects that your group observes through the telescope on their phones but this can be time consuming if groups are particularly large. However we will do our best to capture some.

All celestial objects depend upon clear skies of <50-60% cloud coverage and some objects rise and set so will only be visible at certain times of year.

Cloudy sky

What if it's cloudy?

Cloud coverage is something we always have to contend with (especially in the UK), however if the evening is too cloudy for the telescopes then as a back up we will enthral your guests with an engaging discussion about what's happening in space & the world of astronomy, accompanied by stunning visuals that include some never before seen footage . Our NOVA team members ooze passion and enthusiasm for the world in which they work and it's not long before their infectious personalities spread throughout a group.

Pricing

All events are assessed individually & we will talk through a package that suits your event best.  Pricing is based on time required, location and group numbers. We also provide a secondary price in case the evening is too cloudy . We are currently able to provide enough telescopes that will cover a group of up to 50 people comfortably but aim to increase this number in the future as we invest in more and other high quality optical equipment.
