Our team members are enthusiasts, actively engaged in the world of space and astronomy. We spend a lot of time out under the stars with our range of high tech telescopes, exploring the universe. Each team member has enthrawling stories to share, through their incredible personal experiences and wealth of knowledge. We give students the insight into careers available within the world of astronomy and space, that could take them to places they never knew existed and spark new dreams in the minds of our future generation. 


Whether you're the youngest new learner, all the way through to those ready to move onto further education and begin their journey into employment, we talk in a manner that is age appropriate all about the frontier of space exploration/astronomy. We provide children with an open forum for all their burning questions. 


Pricing assessed based on individual school requirements. Bespoke sessions available.


Guide price: £60 + fuel

Price based on:

  • 1.5 hour talk on space & astronomy with Q&A session (includes 5 minutes break for students).
  • Visuals aids are used to compliment the talk.
  • 1 NOVA team member on site. 


NOTE: We do require a screen and projector to be provided to show our visual aids.

School Stargazing Evenings

Book a group stargazing session between November-March when it's dark enough in the early evening. We start with a short introduction about space/astronomy and chat about what we will be viewing that evening. Then it's time to head outside with the telescopes at the ready to explore the Moon, planets and some beautiful bright winter night

We start with a short introduction about space/astronomy and chat about what we will be viewing that evening. Then it's time to head outside with the telescopes at the ready to explore the Moon, planets and some beautiful bright winter night sky sights. We will book in 3 different nights in case the weather lets us down.

Guide price: £250 + fuel

Price above based on:

  •  Group of 30-40 students for a 2hr session.
  • 2 large telescopes and 2 medium supplied.
  • 2 NOVA team members on site.

Inspire your KS2 year 5 students by having a NOVA astronomer come and visit your school for a day (or 2 day) workshop. Let us ignite and nurture your students curiosity about space with our engaging activities. The students can have the opportunity to see the Sun up close with their own eyes using our solar telescope - specifically design

Inspire your KS2 year 5 students by having a NOVA astronomer come and visit your school for a day (or 2 day) workshop. Let us ignite and nurture your students curiosity about space with our engaging activities. The students can have the opportunity to see the Sun up close with their own eyes using our solar telescope - specifically designed to observe the Sun with pupil safety being the number one priority.


We provide space/astronomy related activities that will allow your students to work as individuals and in teams to expand their critical thinking, challenging them in new fun and exciting ways. All our workshops include an engaging question and answer session to answer students burning questions. Our programme covers key curriculum topics, including but not limited to: The solar system,  Earth, Sun and Moon, day and night, space travel and Moon phases.

Price above based on previous 3 form school:

  •  1 full day of school workshops with classes of 30+ students and focusing on aspects related to the year 5 curriculum about space.
  • Materials for activities provided by NOVA. 
  • Specialised telescope provided for solar observations.
  • 1 NOVA team member on site.


Guide price: £595 + fuel

Price above based on:

  •  2 full days of school workshops with classes of 30+ students and focusing on aspects related to the year 5 curriculum about space.
  • Materials for activities provided by NOVA.
