Autumn Stargazing

September

September marks the "Harvest Moon" and the autumn equinox, bringing clearer skies to view the Great Square of Pegasus and the Andromeda Galaxy as the summer stars slowly fade.

October features the Orionid meteor shower and the ascent of the Andromeda Galaxy, while the cooling air provides crisp views of Fomalhaut and the ghostly "Sea" constellations in the south.
